HS Girls Wrestling POSTPONED, MS Boys Wrestling CANCELLED: The HS Girls Wrestling Tournament scheduled for today (Dec 1) in Ft. Madison has been POSTPONED to tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec 2). The MS Boys Wrestling meet scheduled for today (Dec 1) in Ft. Madison has been CANCELLED.

Today the Fairfield Student Council members made and served a Thanksgiving meal to our amazing staff! We also want to give a big shout-out to Tiers of Delight Cakery for generously donating their delicious pies. Thank you for helping make our celebration extra special! 🧡🦃🥧

Reminder that the Fairfield School District Food Pantry is open tomorrow, Wednesday November 26th from 9-10am and from 430-530pm

What happens when you show up to school? We celebrate! Between our October and November assemblies at FMS, we tracked attendance by Trojan Time to see who was here at school the most. Mrs. Lyon's Trojan Time crushed the challenge, collectively missing less than 3 days as a group for an attendance rate of 98%. In fact, most of them were at school every day of those 3 weeks! They got to choose how they celebrated and decided on some delicious breakfast pizza to start their Monday. Great work, middle schoolers!

Fairfield FFA Members: For those members who are planning on showing at county and/or state fair: Beef Weigh-in: is on December 6th from 9-11. Please contact the Jefferson County Extension Office to RSVP by Tuesday, November 25 at 4:30 PM by calling 641-472-4166 or emailing jefferson4h@iastate.edu. When you RSVP, please include: • Exhibitor Name • 4-H Club or FFA Chapter • Approx. number of head coming to weigh-in • Number of head for State Fair needing retinal imaging Costs at weigh-in: • $5 per ear tag • $10 per retinal image (Cash or check—please bring exact change if possible.) **Make sure you let Elly know you will be attending as well.

A message from Mr. Wigle:

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Tai Ward and Deborah Williamson for their dedicated service to the Fairfield Community School District Board of Directors.

Tai is a diehard Trojan. He loves the people of this community and has spent countless hours serving the staff and students of our district. When I came in as a new superintendent, Tai was our board president, and he was incredible to work with—steady, thoughtful, and deeply committed to doing what is best for Fairfield. Throughout his time on the board, Tai helped navigate many challenging situations, always keeping students at the center of every decision and working to create better opportunities for our kids. Thank you, Tai!

Deborah has a heart bigger than anyone I have ever worked with and finds countless ways to give back to Fairfield. Her desire to make a lasting and meaningful impact on our schools will not be forgotten. Deborah, thank you for your time, your heart, and your unwavering dedication to the Fairfield Schools. It has truly been a privilege to serve alongside you.

On behalf of our entire district, we are grateful for the leadership, compassion, and commitment both Tai and Deborah have given to Fairfield. Their service leaves a lasting legacy for our students, staff, and community.

Congratulations to Fairfield High School Honor Band students: Madalyn Smithburg, Pearl Winheim, Shrivats Pattar, Enzo Hatchette, Kristopher Powell, Bekah Zirkle, Aja Dorothy, Divya Keith, Gretta Winheim, Kayla Karangi, Kyra Mellott, Aidalyn Freeman, Lucas Burgmeier, Aaron Carlson, Tristen Garretson, Will Bryant, and Zef Henneseyhe for being selected to perform at William Penn University. on November 10th.

Attached is the agenda for this Thursday's Winter Season "Meet the Trojans" event. Event starts at 6:00pm in the HS gym (see attachment for specifics). Admission price is a canned food donation that will be given to the local Lord's Cupboard food bank. Go Trojans!
