Mrs. Smithburg's Integrated Science classes made the most of today by exploring how cells divide using Oreo cookies to model mitosis! Students investigated each phase of the cell cycle to understand how organisms grow and repair.
Even on the last day before break, we're committed to curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world science connections.

Neighborhood Forest Information
FMS Families,
On Thursday, March 12, we will be celebrating our students who filled out their assignment journal and got it signed in trimester 2! Students needed to have this done at least 8 weeks out of the trimester to qualify. To celebrate, we will show a movie and provide pizza to those students.
Our schedule will be modified on this day. Please see the attachment so you are able to plan ahead.
If you have any questions about whether or not your student qualifies, feel free to reach out to us at the middle school.

Dinner will be served from 5:00–7:00 PM.
The cost is $10 per dinner, payable at the door.
To-go orders can be placed in advance using the QR code on the attached flyer.
When you purchase a dinner, you can give attendance credit to a high school student. The top three students with the most attendees credited to them will receive prizes from the Lions Club.
Highlights of the evening include:
Proceeds supporting district extracurricular activities
Musical entertainment from the FHS Band and Choir
Raffle prizes throughout the evening
A chance to connect with students, coaches, sponsors, and community members
