Stephanie served as the Associate Principal at FHS from 2018-2022. Prior to that, she was a Curriculum and Instruction Leader for Ottumwa Community Schools. Stephanie has taught middle and high school science and coached swimming, basketball, golf, and softball.

John Grunwald began teaching Vocal and General Music at Fairfield Community Schools at the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year. During the summer of 2013, John Grunwald became the Director of Technology for the Fairfield Community School District.

In 1992, Mr. Grunwald graduated from Luther College with a BA in Music Education. After graduation, Mr. Grunwald taught for two years in Wisconsin and 15 years in Southeast Iowa. In May 2009, he graduated with a Masters in Music Education from Boston University College of Fine Arts. Previously he had been in the Vocal and General music department within the district. Prior to employment with Fairfield CSD, John taught Vocal and General Music and was the Technology Coordinator at Harmony Community Schools. He taught music for 15 years and was Technology Coordinator for 11 years.
