Iowa Science Phenomena
(iowaphenomena.org) from Iowa PBS offers a growing collection of local standards-aligned phenomena, unique and relevant to the students and teachers of Iowa. You are invited to contribute to this collection by joining this one-day outdoor event.
On November 16, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Iowa PBS and Jefferson County Conservation will host an outdoor adventure with a guided tour of Jefferson County Park. Prior to the tour, we will offer valuable tips and tricks to help improve your own amateur nature photography skills. Don’t miss your chance to connect with nature and explore Jefferson County Park. The images you capture may be used in our Iowa Science Phenomena collection.
This experience is for all ages and is family-friendly. Registration is not required.

1st SGT Andy Bowers came to speak to 6th grade Social Studies classes today on Veterans Day. SGT. Bowers gave insight on his experiences in the military especially his 2 deployments overseas. Thank you SGT. Bowers for your service. Happy Veterans Day!

Fairfield High School students will attend an assembly for Veteran's Day on Monday, November 11 from 9:00-10:00am. Due to the assembly, FHS will be following this schedule on Monday.


Today, some students at FMS attended a live webinar with 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘞𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘺 𝘒𝘪𝘥 series author, Jeff Kinney. Students were given a tour of his studio in Massachusetts where he writes and draws his books, participated in a directed drawing, and submitted questions for his Q+A time! It was an awesome experience!





Congratulations again to Bailey Belzer, Layla Terrell, Xavier Kessel, Dylan Adam, and Simeon Claussen on their All-State Choir Achievement! All-State t-shirts are being offered. The shirts are black and short sleeved. The front and back designs are attached to this post. Cost is $15 per shirt.
