We hope you can join us for fairgrounds clean-up tomorrow night from 5:30-7:00 PM! Bring a pair of gloves if you have them and be sure to wear work clothes. The fair board appreciates all 4-H and FFA exhibitors and families who can help get the fairgrounds ready for fair! Also, since Friday (May 15) is the deadline for animal ID in 4-H Online, Abby and Courtney will be available tomorrow night to help families enter their animals into 4-H Online if they would like help in doing so. If you miss this opportunity, there is another clean-up on June 10.

Three of Mrs. Bradfield’s iJAG students are bringing home a huge win after competing at the Skills Development Conference at University of Northern Iowa yesterday!

Reyna Gonzalez, Abbigail Beggs, and Hannah Giberson earned 1st place with their presentation of The L.O.V.E. Project, beating out teams from nine other schools across Iowa.
Their project focused on making our community skatepark a safer, more welcoming place for everyone. The students researched the costs of removing graffiti and vandalism, explored ways to support families and young skaters, and worked to include the current skate community in positive solutions for the future.
Not only did these students identify a real community need, but they also created a thoughtful plan to help make a difference. Their hard work, teamwork, and leadership impressed the judges and earned them top honors at the conference.
Next, the team will present their ideas to the Beautification Committee as they continue working to improve our community.
Congratulations to Reyna, Abbigail, Hannah, and Mrs. Bradfield on this outstanding achievement — and good luck at the next meeting!

A huge huge thank you to our 5th grade Pen Pals! This year, Ms. Alexander has revived our pen pal program and what a great showing by this amazing community. Throughout the year, pen pals have gone above and beyond writing letters. They have shown up for parties, provided gifts, and developed amazing connections with our students. We're so grateful for your dedication and support!
