Pence Staff Shout-out for Lynette Vivacqua
Every morning, despite the weather, Lynette is outside with our Pence Kiddos before school starts. She always greets me with a friendly "Good Morning" as I am scrambling for my key-card and generously lets me in the door. :)
In conversation, I have learned how much Lynette cares for the students she works with 1:1. She strives to set them up to be successful, even if that means making sure they have shoes that fit, or a coat when it's cold out if they are lacking a suitable one. She is fun to converse with, and though she may always be known as the "little teacher", I have learned when it comes to caring for the success of her students, her heart is mighty big!!! Thank you, Lynette for showing up each day ready to give your all!

So MANY amazing things about today! 👏Teamwork, service, communication, goal setting, leadership, learning how to rake, and competing BIG projects for others. What a Bucket Filler for us! 🪣💪
We are so grateful to all the businesses who donated money for every student and staff member to have a shirt today. The shirts were designed by our student leadership team! We can't thank our community enough for the waters that were donated and the businesses that allowed us to come help serve them. We live in such a wonderful community! We are so grateful that our students were able to finally give back for everything the community does for our school district. Can't wait to do it again❤️

And we are off! FMS students met as a whole team this morning to get a group photo and go over community day expectations. Carissa led the students this morning by reviewing why we serve and the expectations. Everyone is now headed out to serve our community who does so much for us. What a great day! Look for more pictures to come throughout the day!

Make-up Days / Last Day of School: We will be adding two days of school to the calendar to make up some snow days. Fairfield's last day of school will be Wednesday, May 31, with an early dismissal at 1:30 p.m.

FHS Girls Soccer Team played with a lot of hustle tonight and showed a lot of improvement! Competed well against a good Demon team. Final Score Washington 3 Trojans 0. Go Trojans! #OneFairfield

Parents may use the Gym Entrance at the front of the school to get seating for the Promenade. At 8:00pm the promenade will begin in the gym for all to see. POSTPONEMENT: The Trojan Athletic Booster's Apparel Garage Sale on Sat, April 22 has been POSTPONED. The club collected some gently used Trojan and Sports Apparel, however, not enough to justify a sale on April 22. The club hopes to offer a sale at a later date. Go Trojans!

The Pence Leader in Me Service Projects Team is collecting old books and non- perishables for our new little free library and pantry. Please consider donating by April 30th!
Thank you!

Reminder students need to wear appropriate shoes and clothes that can get dirty tomorrow. FMS will be out in the community doing service projects.

What a great opportunity it was yesterday to have members of Aeron Lifestyle Technology visit with the Lift shop class.
They explained their business, the roles they play, how they became interested in engineering and the future possibilities the students could explore.
Aeron would like to make this a regular visit (at least two times if not three times a year) with the rotation of lift classes. They would like to visit Mr. Allison's class with 3d printing. Lastly they are checking to see if we could take students on a field trip to see their business and the 3d printers in action.
What a win-win for the students, business, and community👏

On April 14, Fairfield Middle School will be going on our service day trip! Students will go out with their Trojan Time to do some spring cleaning around Fairfield. Make sure students are dressed appropriately by wearing old shoes, sweatshirts, and they will receive a t-shirt that morning to wear during the day. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided. We will leave FMS on buses around 9:15 and will return around 2:30. If it rains we will reschedule for April 28.
