It's Back, Same Great Event, New Location.......Plan to attend!
After a hiatus for a couple of years, the Annual Lions Club Spaghetti Supper fundraising event that raises thousands of dollars for our fine art and athletic programs is back on the schedule. The event will take place on Thursday, March 17th with dinners being served at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center between 5:00-7:30pm.
This has been a great community event and we hope to reignite this tradition again this year. FHS students, coaches, and sponsors will be serving the dinners, and the FHS band and chorus will be providing some live entertainment.
FHS students involved in extracurricular activities are handing out tickets for the dinners. Tickets can also be picked up in the HS Activities Office. Attendees who present a school/student ticket will pay $7 for their dinner. Attendees without a school/student ticket will pay $8 for their dinner.
The Lions Club's and Fairfield Arts & Convention Center's efforts, generosity, and support of our extracurricular programs is awesome and truly appreciated! We are very fortunate to have organizations like these in our community! We are looking forward to seeing many people at this great event that supports our school's programs and students!
Go Trojans!

Huge shoutouts to Antonio, Isiah, and Kevin for WINNING a six-round Apex Legends tournament last week! They got huge dubs in the last two games to blast through to first place! Great job, guys! Their last final circle was pretty intense! Great teamwork throughout.

Congratulations to our January and February Students of the Month! We are so proud of your accomplishment! Way to go!

So proud of these students who took it upon themselves to help our custodians today. 🧹These students knew that we have been short custodial help all week. These service leaders went above and beyond to help take out trash today. Thank you for your leadership students! We appreciate you! ❤️

Some of our 5th graders collected maple sap, went antler hunting, and finished up with some pure maple syrup and waffles at our local Jefferson County Park this week. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful Naturalist, Brittney Tiller, and park system to work with. Thank you to all who made this possible!

5th graders have been learning about the sun and stars and their distance to Earth in Science. Students enjoyed doing a little hands on activity today seeing how smaller objects viewed closer look actually bigger just like our sun!

Congratulations to these February Principal Award Recipients! We are so proud of your hard work! Way to go!

Just a reminder that we will have extended hours today (3/02) until 7 p.m. and tomorrow (3/03) until 6 p.m. at the ACT Office, 403 S 20th Street, so parents can complete Kindergarten registration, or at least pick up registration packets to get the process started. Dear Parents,
At 2:13pm a fire alarm was accidentally triggered at Pence Elementary. All students and staff were immediately evacuated from the school. Due to the cold weather, all students and staff walked over to Fairfield Middle School with the assistance of the Fairfield Police Department. With the help of our Fairfield Fire Department and Fairfield Police Department, they determined that the building was safe for everyone to return. All students & staff were escorted safely back to Pence Elementary with the support of our Fairfield Police Department.
As always, our first concern is the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Thank you,
Angela Jones
