The Fairfield Community School District recently closed the superintendent application period on January 29, 2024. The district received 23 applicants. The next steps will involve the Board of Education meeting in closed session on Monday, February 12 to begin application reviews, with finalist interviews scheduled for the week of February 26, involving approximately 100 stakeholders.

This Friday, February 2nd is the Annual Coaches vs Cancer Event being held in conjunction with the HS Girls and Boys Home Basketball Games vs Burlington. An agenda with information about the event is included in this post. One dollar off of every paid admission is donated to the American Cancer Society. A Soup Supper, Dessert Auction, Quilt Raffle, Sale on Luminaries, 48-Sec Drill, Duck Toss, Cancer Awareness T-shirts, pledge donations for 3-point shots made, and Pink Jerseys are some of the special events planned for the evening (See Included Agenda).
