Congratulations to Fairfield Freshmen Samantha Lyons who qualified for the Girls State Wrestling Tournament with a 3rd place finish at the super regional qualifying meet today! The state meet is being held on Thursday, Feb 1 and Friday, Feb 2 at the Xtreme Arena in Coralville. State Wrestling T-shirts are being offered with Samatha's Name on the back. Pricing for the shirts will start at $14.50 with a $2 upcharge on 2X and a $3 upcharge for 3X. The sizes that are available are Youth S-Adult 3X. Orders must be emailed to sarah.godwin@fairfieldsfuture.org no later than Monday, January 29th at 8:00am. Orders will be delivered to the high school no later than Thursday, January 31st by 5:00pm. Last night the boys and girls teams wore Green warm-ups to support and raise awareness for organ and tissue dontation. There was a duck toss at half time and all proceeds from the event are going to the Iowa Donor Network. On top of that, an anonymous donor pledged $1 for every point scored by all four Trojan teams that were in action last night! Thank you to the sponsors, Iowa State Bank, Agri-Plastics, KMCD-Classic 96 and the Fairfield Baseball Club for making this event a possibility. Special Thanks to Mark Myers and the Jefferson County Treasurers office for coordinating the event! Go TROJANS!

We would like to give a big shoutout to Mrs. Higgins! 🌟 Mrs. Higgins is a great example of what it means to be a Fairfield Collaborator. She goes the extra mile by providing video tutorials for AP Calculus prep so that students can prepare outside of class. She has also earned a spot as a national AP test evaluator in June. 📝 Thank you for going above and beyond for Fairfield students, Mrs. Higgins!

Thursday's (Jan. 25) Home Bowling Match vs Keokuk has been postponed to Feb. 1st at 2pm at Flamingo Lanes. Bowling Senior night will be moved to the Monday, Jan 29 Home Bowling Event vs Centerville and Washington. Go Trojans! #OneFairfield Go Trojans!
