WHO: ANYONE INTERESTED IN GOING OUT FOR 7th and 8th grade FOOTBALL OR MANAGING FOOTBALL FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR.
WHAT: MS Football Information
WHEN: Important Dates to Know
Installs - 8/12, 8/14, 8/19 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Parent Meeting - August 21 @ 6pm (Softball Field Bleachers) – players can attend if desired
Practice - Practice will begin on August 25 (first day of school). Practices will be after school (3:45 PM) until 5:45 PM on any regular school day; schedule TBD on early out days. PLEASE HAVE RIDES READY!
WHERE: FMS Practice Field
***Installs are not practice and cannot be required - they are equivalent to open gym or open mat in other sports. No attendance is taken at these sessions - they’re just an opportunity for our kids to hit the ground running when we start practice. We have a very limited amount of practice before our first game and this provides our athletes an opportunity to better understand concepts and to better learn the game prior to our first game.***
**Items players need for football***
Cleats & Mouth piece (requirement).
Concussion, Consent to Treat and Physical Forms. These items can be found on the school website (Documents >> Departments >> Athletics and Activities >>Athletic Forms) and were emailed out by our Activities Department over the summer. An updated physical, consent to treat and concussion form is required to participate (physicals must be in the last 12 months). These are items that must be submitted prior to starting PRACTICE.

The Fairfield Community School District has unveiled a new mission and vision statement, along with four strategic pillars designed to enhance student success. This will directly align with the five year strategic plan that will be shared in mid-August.

Jefferson County Health Center is offering Free Sports Physical Night on Tuesday, July 22,2025 from 5:30pm-8pm.
If you are needing immunization shots you can still get your free sports physical and make an appointment for the shots for a later date.
