FMS PLTW (Project Lead the Way) students had the opportunity today to present their foot orthosis prototypes to Dr. Allison, a physical therapist from Van Buren County Hospital. Huge thanks to Dr. Allison for coming to help our PLTW group. Our students did a good job of presenting. Way to go!

Due to our AC still not working in most classrooms and high temperatures, Fairfield High School will dismiss at 1:30 on Thursday, September 18. Bussing will remain the same time. Any bus kid may stay in the library if you are unable to get another ride.

We will use our Friday 1:30 schedule Thursday, and it is in the middle column of the attached image.

We are looking forward to cooler temps and full days next week!

Residents of the Fairfield Community School District will vote on a $39.5 million general obligation bond on Tuesday, November 4. An approved bond would fund the construction of a new middle school for students in grades 5-8.

If you were unable to attend the band meeting last night, here are some important documents for you if your child is interested in being in band.

The Fairfield Community School District increased its unassigned general fund balance from $92,976 to $4.19 million in fiscal year 2025, raising its financial solvency ratio from 0.42 percent to 17.23 percent.

Would you like your family to grow even stronger? Would you like to be able to discuss topics such as managing emotions, setting goals, avoiding peer pressure, making better decisions, and creating better relationships with your youth and other parents and caregivers? We encourage you to attend Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth ages 10-14, held on Mondays this fall at Fairfield Middle School. As parents and caregivers, you will learn how to show love while setting limits, how to listen to your child, and how to help family members show appreciation to each other. All families have strengths. This program will help your family become even stronger!

This program is being offered at Fairfield Middle School on Mondays from October 13 to November 24 at no cost to families. A meal is provided each week at 5:30 PM, with the program from 6-8 PM. Great Spirit this last week! Many chances to continue that Trojan Spirit this week! Volleyball home Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Girls Tennis Home Wednesday and Saturday! Go Trojans!

Just a reminder we have are on a special schedule TODAY, 9/12, for the parade! Schedule is attached! Students will begin loading floats at 11:45, and they will be dismissed from the square at 1:30 after the parade and rally.

On the 24th anniversary of the tragic day in our country's history 6th grade Social Studies students honored a 9/11 hero, Welles Remy Crowther, the Man in the Red Bandana and others who were affected that unforgettable day.
