At FMS, Mrs. Miller not only helps students find great books to check out, she also is the first line of defense with tech help, teaches literacy lessons, does lunch duty, teaches specials, the list goes on!

Little Trojan Cheer Camp!
Little Trojan Cheer Camp will be held September 28th–October 1st at Fairfield Middle School and is open to all students in Kindergarten through 6th grade!
Cost is $25
Campers will perform at the Fairfield Football Game on October 2!

Hello all 5th Grade Families!
My name is Mr. Nunziato, and I am the 5th Grade Band Director. Your students have been doing a fantastic job trying out different musical instruments since the first day of school, and are trying out more each day! Next Thursday, September 10th at 7:00pm, we will be having a Band Open House for all students and families in the Middle School Cafetorium. We will also be joined by representatives from West Music, our music retailer, where they will provide information on how to rent student instruments and obtain the necessary band materials.
Once all students have tried each instrument, a list of students with their chosen instrument will be posted in their homerooms, and will be posted in the band room (will be posted by Sept. 9th or earlier).

Due to the high temperatures, the start time for the FHS Girls Tennis match scheduled for today (Sept. 3) in Mt. Pleasant has been changed to a 6:30p start time. Go Trojans!
🌟 Leadership in Action! 🌟
To help our newest students to FMS learn the flow of lunch and keep things clean, we have student lunch helpers at 5th grade lunch. Vivian and Lisa jumped right in the first week of school to keep things organized, tidy, and moving quickly so everyone could get out to recess.
New FMS art teacher, Mr. Fleece, had 5th graders working hard on Habit 6 today in Art practicing their synergy! They were working in teams to complete puzzles and create class norms. Students shared the importance of having a plan, communicating effectively, and asking for help. Way to go, 5th graders!
Fairfield HS stadium lights will be on again tonight (7 PM – 4 AM) to finish our track resurfacing project. We appreciate the community's patience and support as we finish up these facility improvements for our students and athletes!
