Meet Lisa Myers

 .

Lisa has been teaching for 29 years and 25 of those have been at Fairfield High School. She teaches Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, friends, students, and colleagues. She also finds joy in reading, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Lisa builds memories with her son, Drew by watching him in various sports and following all of his activities. Lisa is a caring person and wears her heart on her sleeve.

A parent said, “I would like to give a shout-out to Mrs. Lisa Myers, FHS Algebra/Geometry teacher. My child was out sick for a couple of weeks and she took the time to communicate, multiple times to include her evenings/off-work time, when she should have been able to relax away from work, to make sure she was helping him stay caught up and answering any questions. She took the time to do a video recording for each lesson, so he could watch, pause and work, re-watch at his convenience. At a time when a child is out for so long, and can get extremely behind and stressed as the grades fall, she went above and beyond to make sure the lessons were delivered electronically and that she kept up communication and was flexible. Mrs. Myers deserves a shout-out for always caring about her students, the students as a whole, and their well-being, and going above and beyond to help them succeed!”

Thank you, Lisa for all you do each day for your students!
