Mallory Mahon FHS Dean of Students

Fairfield High School is proud to announce that Mallory Mahon will be the next Dean of Students.

“We’re excited for the tremendous leadership capacity of Mrs. Mahon. She brings strong rapport with students and has their respect. Her experience at the middle and high school level of education helps Fairfield HIgh School to provide a systematic approach to collaboration and programming,” said Principal Phomvisay.

Mahon’s educational background includes 14 years serving as both a middle and high school  Band Director, 13 of those years being in the Kansas City area, and this past year serving here in Fairfield as the 7-8 Band Director at FMS and Assistant Band Director at FHS. In addition to her work in education, Mrs. Mahon has always been involved in music, playing trumpet and horn in several community groups, and singing whenever she gets the chance. She currently resides in Keosauqua with her husband, son, and daughter.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to serve the Fairfield School District in this capacity at such a critical time and look forward to the work ahead, serving the Fairfield community with this amazing high school and district staff,” shared Mrs. Mahon.
