FMS launched their Leader in Me action teams today during professional development! 🙌 This shared leadership empowers our staff to lead the learning and collaborate on plans for Leader in Me implementation. Teams include events like planning for family involvement, student led conferences, service learning days, and community day. Other teams are focusing on staff and student learning, uplifting the physical environment, building a leadership culture through emotional deposits, student leader roles and more! These teams met this morning to begin planning. Never ceases to amaze me when we empower others things come to life and ideas 💡 start flowing! Loved the synergizing this morning! ❤️

Happy Homecoming Week!
Check out our dress up days!

5th graders are hard at work this week working on reading and research skills. Students had a lot to say about their people they are researching! I was amazed at what they are learning👏 Our 5th grade crew has been stellar this year!

8th graders started their book clubs today! 📚They were super engaged with the book they chose. It is so thrilling to see students excited to read! So proud of our 8th graders!

5th band information for Thursday, September 22.

5th grade band information!

Fifth graders earned extra recess time today. We have been so impressed with their behavior at recess. This includes teamwork, problem-solving, being respectful, and following the rules. We wanted to reward them with extra recess time to let them know we notice the good work that they are doing. So proud of you fifth graders! 👏

Our Trojan Time teams are working hard this week to prep for homecoming! This week teams are synergizing to create a poster design to decorate our halls. Our student leadership teams decided that we would not do door decorations this year but wanted to do something in Trojan time as a team and decided on creating posters. Can’t wait to see the finished products! Go Trojans!

Bryce is such a thoughtful leader. He is always thinking of creative ways to decorate the school and serve others. Today he filled Halloween bags full of recycled paper. He came up with the idea of using these to help our custodians out cleaning as well as putting them around school for decorations. Way to go, Bryce!

GRAY OUT tonight at HOME HS Volleyball! Tonight the Trojans will take on Burlington in HS Volleyball. The teams are designating this match as a brain cancer awareness event and an event to show support for Lisa Brinkmeyer who is the IGHSAU staff member in charge of volleyball. Mrs. Brinkmeyer is currently battling brain cancer. Trojan fans in attendance are being encouraged to wear gray which is the ribbon color for brain cancer. #OneFairfield Go Trojans!

We are raising awareness for Childhood Cancer Month! Wednesday we will be raising money for one of our own, Jack ❤️ See
