Attention FMS Students and Families! The FMS Student Council is excited to announce the return of Hat Days! Join us in wearing your favorite hats every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. To participate, simply bring $1 on hat day, and you'll not only get to wear your hat but also contribute to our Care Fund. This fund will help support various causes and needs as they arise in our school community. Mark your calendars and get ready to wear your best hats for a great cause! Thank you for your support! The book fair will be open during conferences on Monday and then regular school hours Tuesday through Friday. Mr. Wigle spent time with a FMS Leadership class today. Mr. Wigle had them play a game called "Win as much as you can" where students had to communicate and trust each other to try to score as many points as they could. He then went on to talk to the students about his current position in our district. He also had the students brainstorm in what they could do to become a better leader. Thank you Mr. Wigle for coming to spend time with the leadership students at FMS.

FMS Picture Day form - School pictures are on October 3rd! You student should be bringing home the picture form today. Please check with them. If you don't find it, please print off a copy here. If you like, you may also pick one up at the school. Thank you!

Monday’s FMS Announcements, September 30th Teacher’s, please release the 7th grade volleyball team and managers TODAY at 3:05 for their game in Mt. Pleasant. The 8th grade team will play here at 4:30. Good luck, teams! --- Great work continuing with your fundraising! Don't forget that you still have time to make your 10 contacts or raise the money needed to qualify for the Day of Awesomeness! Today, we have two very special winners of our Starbucks gift cards - Channing Countryman and Emry Dorothy. Tomorrow will be the water bottle drawing, so keep up your hard work! --- Students, please be sure you take your picture packets home to your parents. FMS picture day is Thursday, October 3rd! Get ready to smile! --- Art club will be TOMORROW after school until 5 pm in the Art Room, #116. Art Club will meet the first Tuesday and the third Tuesdays of each month. --- Starting tomorrow (Tuesday), students who order the PB& J lunch will go to lunch in the main office hallway. They will grab the PB&J bag, go to the salad bar, and then type in their lunch number at the desk as usual. Please make sure, if you get the PB& J Option, go through the office hallway to pick up your lunch. --- Attention Builders Club Members! We would like to congratulate the following students on being elected as Builders Club officers: Tre Wilson will serve as Builders Club President. Ben Brown and Grant Bisgard will be Co-Vice Presidents. Dylan Brown will serve as Treasurer. Elwood Kinder will be club Secretary. Congratulations to all! --- Attention all associates, if you have turned in your red book, please find it on the shelf and make the necessary changes. If you have not turned in your red book yet, please do so today! Janice is looking for these! --- FMS will be having a fall dance this Friday, October 4th. 5th grade is from 5:30-7:00, & 6th, 7th, and 8th is from 7:30-9:00. There is a $5 entry fee. FMS Student Council will be selling hair tinsel and face tattoos tomorrow from 11-12 during lunch hour tomorrow at school. They will also be set up at their lemonade stand during the game starting at 6:30pm. GO TROJANS!

Tuesday’s FMS Announcements, September 24th Teachers, please release the 8th grade football team and managers TODAY at 2:50 for their game in Mt. Pleasant. The 7th grade team will be dismissed at 3:00 pm and catch the bus at 3:10 to go to our high school stadium. Game at 4:30! Good luck, teams! The cheerleaders will also catch the 3:10 bus to the high school with the football players. --- The 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Burlington for their away game last night. The A and B teams both played hard fought games but both ended with a loss. However, C and D teams both were able to end on top with a win. MVPs for their games last night were Alyssa Keller, Kelsey Stearns, and Cienna Smith. Hayden Fulton, Addison Hagans, Brooklyn Hines, and Delaney Ward were all ready to play and hopped in to play at a moments notice with great results. Great job last night ladies. --- The 8th grade volleyball team battled hard last night, but lost to Burlington. In serving, Kate Brecount went 4 for 4 with 2 aces, Braezyn Stutzman went 8 for 9, and Breena Golden went 11 for 12. On offense, Kayla Morris had 3 kills and Josie Mosinski had 2 kills. --- This Wednesday’s morning is a Global Day of Student-Led Prayer. If you wish to participate, please gather around the flagpole in front of FMS at 7:20. --- Attention Builders Club Members! Please check your email for an email from Mr. Thompson. Drama Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month and is open to all FMS students, grades 5-8. Well, this Saturday from 6am to 1pm is your chance to get that tasty breakfast at the Kiwanis Kids Day celebration on the Fairfield square. Tickets are sold at the tent. Come for the pancakes and stay for the parade at 10am with many of your friends in the parade. There will be several bounce houses and other games and activities that are free. We will see you this Saturday on the square! --- HOMECOMING is next Friday, Sept 27th! Therefore, we will have dress up days all next week! YAY!
