6th Grade Social Students spent time learning about Holidays Around the World. Students had an opportunity to pick a different country and learn about the traditions of the holiday season of their selected country. The past 3 days students then presented the information to their classmates. Many students brought treats or performed music pieces that were traditional to their country. Two student council members helped FCSD make history today, while utilizing new technology in the school district.
While utilizing a new feature in the district's Quicklert solution, these students made the first Quicklert live announcement, outside of production, in the nation. This kind of harkens back to Alexander Graham Bell in 1876..."Mr. Watson, Come Here..."

Varsity Players of the Game this week were Ben Boatright and Eli Zillman vs Keokuk and Sam Weaton vs Pella. Sometimes the score doesn't show the improvent that this team has shown over the last two weeks. They continue to improve and Get Better Every Day!
This week our JV Players of the Game are Ethan Bisgard vs Pella and Drew Myers vs Keokuk. Great Job! The future is bright for the Trojan Boys Basketball Program!
