Inexperienced Bus Riders - Students more easily learn how to transfer buses at the hub (high school) if they first experience the process in the morning. As such, on the first day of school please either let your child ride both to and from school or, if you want to drop them off at school the first day, please also pick them up and start riding the bus another day. Our #1 goal is student safety!

POSTPONED-Due to excessive heat at FHS, tonight's (Aug. 24) JV/V Volleyball Event vs Albia & EBF has been POSTPONED, make-up TBD. Instead, a practice will be held at Park & Rec from 6:00-7:30pm. Due to 9th grade orientation, this practice is optional for 9th graders. Go Trojans!
REMINDER:
Open House is TOMORROW, Thursday, August 24. We will pass out schedules and teachers will be available from 6-7:30. Our new principals, Mrs. Marten and Mr. Rebling, will also be available to meet you from 5-6 and 7:30-8.
Please encourage your student(s) to practice their locker combination at Open House, as we will expect students to leave their backpacks and bags in their lockers this year, as outlined in our updated student handbooks. We're happy to help students practice opening their lockers, and we will also practice many times at the beginning of the year until we get it down!
We can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Due to the projected forecast for excessive heat this week, middle school cross country practice has been moved to 6:30 am Tuesday-Friday at the high school.
Middle School Fall Activities are starting next week! Here is a list of the first practice dates and times along with coach contact information:
