FMS Parents,
Thursday, November 2 will be the Day of Awesomeness celebration for our POP fundraiser! Our students are very excited and we are looking forward to celebrating with them! Any student who entered 10 or more contacts OR raised $50 qualifies for the Day of Awesomeness. 5th and 6th grade students will be outside from 1:00-2:00 and 7th and 8th grade students will be outside from 2:15-3:15. Thursday's forecast is looking chilly, so please encourage your child(ren) to wear plenty of layers. Please also have your child(ren) bring an extra pair of socks, as they may get damp and/or dirty from the bounce houses.
Students who do not qualify for the Day of Awesomeness will stay inside and either catch up on missing work or, if they are caught up on all assignments, they will watch a movie in their homeroom class.
As always, if you have questions or concerns, feel free to reach us at FMS at (641) 472-5019. Thank you!

Join us on a journey into the imagination of a playful storyteller sharing their love of Greek Mythology and creativity with a younger sibling and the audience. Imagination Mythic is an original script written and adapted by FHS Drama Director Noel Wotherspoon, and this production presented by The Broadway Players of FHS will be its World Premiere.
Comedy and Drama, Action and Adventure, experience multiple genres told through a variety of styles. With emphasis on visual storytelling this show incorporates mime, human shadow puppetry, and colorful lighting effects along with traditional stage pictures to tell the stories of several fantastical myths. Some of the featured myths include: Pandora’s Box, Artemis, Callisto, and the origin of Ursa Major, and The Abduction of Persephone. At the core of this script is a poignant story of two siblings learning to reconnect and understand the importance of imagination, even in a grown up, modern world.
Fast moving, with lots to look at, and a run time of around 75 minutes, this show is Family Friendly and great for audiences of all ages! Be among the first to experience this brand new theatrical production!
