Staff Shout Out!
Give a shout-out to Robin Wendland, our middle school band instructor! Robin and her family live in Agency on their family farm. She enjoys camping in the summertime with her family. The Wendland family is planning their next trip to Disney World!Robin participates in her church’s worship team and plays clarinet in the Fairfield Municipal Band. This is Robin’s third year at FMS and her 18th year in the classroom. While at FMS, she has taught 7th/8th-grade band and is now teaching 5th and 6th-grade band. Robin stated that she loves the excitement of the beginning band students as they are learning to make their first sounds on their instruments and hearing their progress as students continue to grow as young musicians!.
A staff member gave a shout-out to Robin and said the following, “Robin not only goes beyond the call of duty with her students, but she also goes above and beyond the call of duty to help staff members. As a new teacher to the district, I have had a lot of questions, and Robin has always taken the time to answer and help out when needed. I've also witnessed her assisting a long-term sub on many occasions. She is a huge team player, and her willingness to help others is appreciated”!
Robin, thank you for all you do to bring the passion for music to our students. We are so glad you are a part of our FF family!
