HS Business Law students conducted a mock trial today at the Jefferson County Courthouse with Mr. Pat McAvan. Mr. McAvan came to the high school and taught the students on Monday and Tuesday of this week. On Wednesday and Thursday, the students spent time practicing and preparing for their roles in the trial. Today, Mrs. Matthews and the Business Law students went and conducted the mock trial with Mr. McAvan being the judge. Mr. McAvan also took the class on a tour of the courthouse. It is official!!! The FHS Mario Kart Team has qualified for the IAHSEA State Tournament in Des Moines on June 1st. The team is working on State T-Shirts and will hopefully have information out soon. Congratulations to the team!
