Mrs. Smithburg's Integrated Science classes made the most of today by exploring how cells divide using Oreo cookies to model mitosis! Students investigated each phase of the cell cycle to understand how organisms grow and repair.

After spring break, you may be ready to refuel—and we have a great opportunity to do just that! On Tuesday, March 24, the Lions Club will host their annual Spaghetti Supper fundraiser in the Middle School Cafetorium to support our extracurricular activities.
Dinner will be served from 5:00–7:00 PM.
The cost is $10 per dinner, payable at the door.
To-go orders can be placed in advance using the QR code on the attached flyer.
When you purchase a dinner, you can give attendance credit to a high school student. The top three students with the most attendees credited to them will receive prizes from the Lions Club.
Highlights of the evening include:
Proceeds supporting district extracurricular activities
Musical entertainment from the FHS Band and Choir
Raffle prizes throughout the evening
A chance to connect with students, coaches, sponsors, and community members
Mark your calendars—we hope to see many of you there!

FFA Pancake breakfast on Friday, February 27th
Congratulations to Zane Hickenbottom & Carson Lovelady on advancing onto Districts for the Welding Competition.
We had students compete last week at Sub-Districts in welding, creed speaking, conduct of meetings, chapter program and job interview.
Students did a great job preparing for the contest and received either a gold, silver or bronze rating.
