Severe Weather Image

FCSD Letterhead

Dear Families,

I am writing to update you on our plans for tomorrow, April 16, due to the potential severe weather. While we are planning for a full school day, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast and will take all necessary precautions to ensure everyone's safety.

Should severe weather conditions occur at the time of dismissal tomorrow, we may need to hold students in place until it is safe to dismiss them. We understand that this may cause some anxiety and inconvenience, but please know it is done for the safety of everyone involved.

Our staff members are well-prepared to handle any situation that may arise, and we are confident that our school setting is one of the safest places for our students to be during such circumstances.

Communication is key in these situations, and we will make sure to keep you informed every step of the way. Any announcements regarding changes to the school day will be communicated through our official channels.

As always, we appreciate your cooperation as we prioritize learning and safety. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Dr. Stephanie Mishler
Interim Superintendent
