FCSD Now Accepting Proposals for Lincoln Elementary Building Sale

FAIRFIELD, IA — The Fairfield Community School District is accepting proposals for the sale of the former Lincoln Elementary School building and property, located at 401 W. Stone Ave. in Fairfield.

Individuals or businesses interested in purchasing the property should submit an Offer to Purchase Real Estate form, accompanied by a written proposal describing their planned use of the property. Offers must be received by Superintendent Stephanie Mishler at the District Office (403 South 20th St., Fairfield, Iowa 52556) no later than 12 p.m. on May 16, 2024. 

The Fairfield Board of Education intends to act on approval of the successful proposal at its regular meeting scheduled for June 3, 2024.

Interested parties may schedule a time to view the property prior to submitting a proposal. All viewings will be scheduled between April 22 and May 3. To schedule an appointment to view the property, please contact Superintendent Mishler by phone at 641-472-2655. 

FCSD will also host an open house on Thursday, April 25, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary School. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
