Amanda Hotz grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 2009. She went on to attend UNI for one year and then transferred to Central College. She graduated from Central in 2013 with her B.A. in Elementary Education and a K-8 Reading endorsement. While at Central she was a part of the cross country and track team. After graduating she taught kindergarten at Pekin for two years and kindergarten at Columbus for two years. Coming back to Fairfield was a little unexpected, but she is so excited to be back where she called home for so long!
