Jim Edgeton directs the marching band, 10-12 concert band and jazz band. He has been teaching at FHS since 1992. He is also the sponsor of the local chapter of National Honor Society. Jim holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Music Education degree from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Edgeton received his National Board Certification in 2008. His previous teaching experiences include the Goldfield Community School District in Goldfield, Iowa and the Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, Texas.
