FMS Students of the Month

November 2018

Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School “Students of the Month” award. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school. These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The ‘Students of the Month’ certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade level teaching team.

Aja Dorothy was chosen to receive the November Student of the Month award.  She always does her work to the best of her ability and tries her hardest.  She takes initiative to go above and beyond to show her best skills.  She also shows great Trojan PRIDE and is always following expectations in class fully.  Keep working hard, Aja!  Congratulations!

Lincoln Kessel has demonstrated leadership in the classroom, he works hard every day, and always has a positive attitude. Most importantly, Lincoln shows Trojan PRIDE in the classroom and outside of the classroom. Lincoln's greatest strength is perseverance and putting his best effort in all that he does. Congratulations, Lincoln.

The 6th-grade team is pleased to award student of the month to Rylan Anderson for the month of November.  Rylan has had a positive attitude towards learning and is a quiet leader in the classroom.  His work ethic is outstanding and adds many great ideas to classroom discussions. Congratulations and keep it up, Rylan!

The 7th grade team would like to recognize Cade Campbell as the recipient of the November 2018 Student of the Month award. Cade has a spunky attitude that energizes the ones around him. Given his positive interactions, he also sets the tone when working in groups. Cade is helpful and makes sure his teammates have what they need to be successful. Not only is he committed to other’s success, he believes in his success too. Cade is committed to his learning by fully being an active participant in class.

The 7th grade team would like to recognize Makenna Heyn as the recipient of the November 2018 Student of the Month award. Makenna sets a quiet example of what Trojan PRIDE is all about. Although she’s not a vocal leader, she sets a positive example with her work ethic and attention to detail. Makenna is also a student that can be depended on, strives to do what is right, and encourages others to do the same. In all, Makenna lives and believes in Trojan PRIDE through her actions.

The 8th-grade team is proud to nominate Chayse Gilchrist for the student of the month.  Chayse brings positivity, helpfulness, and hard work to everything that she does. She enters each class with a smile and is always the first person to offer words of encouragement to others. She is willing to offer help to peers and teachers without being asked and is a willing and enthusiastic participant in all classroom activities. Chayse always puts her best effort into her work and asks for help when needed. We are so excited to have Chayse in our classes! Keep up the good work!
