Rules

Date RangeTeam's must play their round of golf within the date range of Monday, July 27 through Sunday, August 16, 2020 (excluding Thursday evenings after 4pm) at the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.

Format: The format for this virtual golf event will be a 4-person best shot.  Each player will tee off to begin each hole, you will then move all the golf balls to the ball in the best position and everyone will then play from there.  Continue in this manner until you hole out.

Tees:  Men will play from the white tees and ladies will play from the red tees.  Men that are 72 years old or older may hit from the senior tees if they so desire.

Winter Rules:  You may move the ball up to one foot.  However, you must leave the ball in the same condition when you play, i.e. if you are in the rough, it must stay in the rough, if you are in a bunker you must stay in the bunker, etc.

Flights:  At the conclusion of the virtual outing, teams will be divided into 3 flights after 18 holes and we will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each flight.  A match of cards, beginning on the #1 men’s handicap hole and moving forward by handicap hole will break ties.  Flights will be divided in the same manner with the low score moving up in flight.  Flight award winning teams will receive Booster Bucks that can be used to purchase Trojan apparel and/or concession stand items.

Raffle:  All participants names will be placed in a drawing for a $1,000 cash prize that will be drawn at the first FHS Varsity Home Football Game.  Participants may register and pay to play in the outing more than once.  A player's name will be entered into the raffle for each registration payment received.
