Understanding "Your connection is not private"
We have all been here. In Google Chrome, we may receive "Your connection is not private". In Firefox, we may receive "This Connection is Untrusted". And for those of you still using Safari, you may receive the message "Safari can't verify the identity of the website". All three messages use scary words that should stop you in your tracks and make you ask yourself the question "Do I really know who I am dealing with?". The most logical answer, when you encounter one of these messages, is to back out and do not click any combination of buttons as you may ultimately be providing a third party your information... be it passwords, email addresses, or in our case student information.
