6th Grade:
Sara Adam
Sara Adam is a bubbly, hard-working 6th grader, who excels at doing her work well. She is kind and quick to help others in need. Her maturity brings a sense of calmness to the classroom. She is also responsible and trustworthy. FMS is very lucky to have Sara Adam as a 6th grader!
Randall Pugh
Randall Pugh has been a welcome addition to our sixth grade class. He has a positive attitude and is willing to help other students. He is a conscientious worker and completes his assignments in a timely manner.
7th grade:
Alicia Smithburg
Alicia Smithburg is a student who always puts forth her best effort, reflects on her work, asks thoughtful questions about how to improve, and accepts constructive criticism. She has a sunny disposition that she shares with all who meet her. Alicia is a very friendly young lady who goes out of her way to include others. She works well with her peers, providing enthusiastic support and a positive attitude. She is active at FMS, participating in volleyball, band, chorus, and student council. Congratulations, Alicia! Your example to other students makes you an excellent student of the month!
Adam Mueller
Adam Mueller is the 7th grade student of the month. Adam has impressed his teachers with his curiosity and work ethic. He always makes good academic choices and puts full effort into everything he does. Adam works extremely well with other classmates and is very respectful of both his peers and his teachers. He sets a great example.
8th grade:
Yenifer Jimenez
Our 8th grade girl student of the month is Yenifer Jimenez. She came from Mexico a little over 2 years ago and began learning English at FMS. Yenifer is hard-working and dedicated, voluntarily staying after school for help and often staying in the classroom during lunch to work. She is very cooperative, diligent, respectful, kind, compassionate, helpful and uncomplaining. We are very proud to call her an FMS student.
CJ Shipman
CJ Shipman is another of those quiet classroom leaders. Whether he is in class, in the hallway or on the golf course he always seems to be doing the right things. He is polite and respectful not only towards his teachers but also towards his peers. He puts in good, consistent effort and completes his assignments on time and to the best of his ability. CJ has represented the middle school well, as a published author, having had an article printed in the Jr. High Writer magazine. CJ shows great promise and will continue to represent Fairfield well in the future.
