Great Start to the School Year
Washington Elementary welcomes a new year
Thank you for your patience as we start the school year. It has been a great start and we appreciate our parents working with us as our students transition back to school. It is going to be a great year here at Washington.
We have 264 students at the present time. This is actually comparable to the 276 we had at this time last year. We reduced one section from three, third grade rooms to two, fourth grade rooms. Ten of our students from last year’s third grade are attending other buildings in the district. Our largest grade is 4th which has 49 students and our smallest is 2nd grade which has 41. The students in each grade are divided into two sections.
